Meet our 2020 Impact Prize Winners
For the 3rd year running, EPAM have kindly supported our Impact Prizes celebrating the teachers, schools and experts who have supported all of our students through their Apps for Good courses.

Introducing our Educator of the Year:
Jo Newell, Computer Science Teacher at Harris Academy Bermondsey
Jo is an experienced Apps for Good educator who has delivered a variety of our courses over the years. Jo is extremely passionate about inspiring her students through technology and has successfully led many student teams to the Apps for Good Awards.
Her passion and determination to inspire her students has helped them produce many innovative problem solving technologies. She has also utilised many opportunities for her students to see the use of technology outside of the classroom and has partaken in many engagement days with Apps for Good including visits to our corporate partners Spotify and our Design an App in a Day workshop with LEGO
Introducing our Expert of the Year:
Daniel Mullings, Director at Techembrace
Daniel has been an amazing Expert with Apps for Good for many years.
Over the 2019-2020 academic year, Daniel completed a staggering 12 sessions with students from across the country and provided them with inspiration and guidance throughout their projects. Our Educators have always told us how invaluable his sessions are and how motivated their students are after talking to him.
Daniel continues to champion and support Apps for Good throughout this challenging time.
Introducing our School of the Year
The Misbourne School, Great Missenden, England
The incredible Computer Science department at the Misbourne has delivered both our App Development and our Machine Learning courses to numerous students across multiple year groups this year.
They have always been incredibly supportive of our mission and have provided us with invaluable user research to help us continually improve our courses for both students and teachers.
We look forward to continuing to work with The Misbourne to help inspire their students in future years.
