Apps for Good joins Pawprint as a charity partner
Pawprint is an app which helps employees to tackle climate change by encouraging users to make small sustainable changes to their lifestyle that will help reduce their carbon footprint. Changes such as buying seasonal veg, to carpooling. The app tracks actions taken and awards points according to how effective they are in reducing carbon emissions. The product is a great example of the kind of innovation that young people could come up with on our Climate Action and Wellbeing course.
A co-benefit is that each point earned can be ‘spent’ with one of Pawprint’s non-profit partners. And we’re delighted to have been chosen as one of three charities for this term, running from November through to January. We’ll receive a donation for every point earned through the platform, with all funds raised being directed towards our new Climate Action and Wellbeing course, helping to ensure that the course remains free for all students across the UK.
Whilst the app is aimed at organisations, any individual can sign up for free, start tracking their actions and support our new climate focused course.
