Apps for Good launch new course for young people with special educational needs

Thanks to funding from the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) this autumn term Apps for Good will be piloting an adapted version of our App Development course designed for Special Schools.

The course was developed following feedback from Special School teachers that they didn’t have access to appropriate resources to teach digital skills. In response to this Apps for Good has adapted our App Development course, and funding from WCIT means we can pilot the new course with three schools this term. Feedback from teachers at these three schools will help us develop the course further, and we hope to be able to offer the course to all Special Schools in 2022.
